God Has A Dream, And It's Called America
Nations Don't Just "Happen" By Chance
God sets up nations, and God takes them down. Man only thinks he is in charge.
When Jesus told His disciples to be witnesses of Him in Jerusalem, then work outward to Judea, further into Samaria, and finally to the uttermost part of the earth, He had an endpoint in mind. Jerusalem marked the starting point for that endeavor, but the endpoint would be the furthest point possible on the globe from where things began. That's the western territories of the United States of America. WE are the uttermost part in Jesus' great agenda, and this Christian nation is the fulfillment of His command. The pilgrims understood this when they sailed to the new world "for the glory of God and advancement of the Christian faith." This emphasis continued through the Revolutionary War era, with the Black Robed Regiment and a remnant holding to the truth that nationally, we have "no king but King Jesus." America's God-given manifest destiny was to stretch from sea to shining sea, and truly be one nation under One God...Jesus Christ.
Today, America has largely turned its back on God, and is declining into sin and judgment. Yet America exists by design. Divine design. Ours is a prophetic nation, a nation built by Divine providence, and God has not changed His mind about why we exist. He has ordained American government to be upon the shoulder of Christ, and He will prevail in our national affairs.
A defining theme of Heritage Ministries is the truth that America exists in Scripture, and He has a plan to turn us to Himself once again. It won't be through lights and big drums, or fog machines and polished productions. It will come only through judgment, repentance, and restoration. A righteous remnant will be positioned in advance, and prepared to take the helm when God says "it's time." Today is the time to prepare and allow God to position you for the task at hand.
